GTA 6 Will Be Released at the End of This Generation

Everything you want to know about GTA 6

Although the current generation of consoles is no longer considered new by many gamers, the new generation is still seen as a new generation for the game industry. This is due in part to production pipeline issues and stock issues. This means that GTA 6 is likely to launch at the end of this generation. While GTA 5 was ported to the next generation, GTA 6 will be exclusive to the PS5 and Xbox Series X.

Rockstar Games co-founder Dan Houser is shaping the narrative of GTA 6

While it is too early to tell exactly how Dan Houser’s departure will impact GTA VI, it will definitely impact the game’s development process. GTA VI is currently in development, and Rockstar likes to take its time with big releases. While Rockstar will likely receive some of Houser’s input in the development of GTA VI, it may be looking for someone else to lead the game after his departure.

Previously, Houser served as executive writer on Red Dead Redemption and Max Payne 3, two of Rockstar’s most popular games. He also wrote the script for GTA 5. The game’s stuntman, Tim Neff, has previously worked with the studio. During one of his previous sessions, Neff posted a picture of himself in a motion-capture suit holding 80s-style props.

The game will be set in a fictional version of Miami

While there is no concrete information yet, Rockstar Games has been hard at work developing a new Grand Theft Auto game. While the original plans were to have the game take place in a giant open world in South and North America, the company has decided to make the game set in a fictional Miami. The developers hope this will help reduce the development crunch leading up to the release date.

GTA 6’s setting has been kept under wraps for some time, but rumors about the game’s location have been circulating. According to a recent Bloomberg report, the game will take place in a fictional version of Miami. While Vice City and Los Santos were rumored to be included, Rockstar has decided to stick with Miami as the starting point. The game will feature an entirely new city to explore, as well as a world map that’s much larger than those in previous GTA games.

    It will feature two protagonists

While GTA 5 introduced multiple protagonists, this system often dilutes the content and breaks the focus of the game. Recently, the developer has returned to the single protagonist system. However, this has not been confirmed officially. The game is expected to feature a female protagonist. While this is not yet confirmed, it is highly likely.

GTA 6 will feature two protagonists instead of three, but the two characters are expected to work independently but will support each other in the game’s storyline and share inventory. Recent reports or rumours claim that this duo is based on the real-world crime duo Bonnie and Clyde, but will be set in modern times.

It will only be released on PS5, Xbox Series X

The new Grand Theft Auto game is set to release sometime between 2024 and 2025. That’s 12 years after the release of the last iteration. But instead of releasing it on PCs and PS4 like the last iteration, it’ll only be released on Xbox Series X, PS4, and PCs. This is a move that makes sense for Rockstar Games, as they’ll want to make sure the game will sell well on their consoles.

Although the current generation of consoles isn’t new to many gamers, they’re still relatively new in the industry. During the early years of production, there were some issues with stocks and production pipeline, so it’s likely that GTA 6 will be released only on the new generation consoles. However, it’s possible that the next GTA game won’t be as popular as the previous one, which was released on the next-gen consoles.

    S and PC

There has been some confusion regarding the release date of GTA 6. While it will be released for the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, it’s still unclear if there will be a PC version. It is expected to come out sometime in the next year, which is not far away.

The game’s official website has recently received an update that shows new artwork, although not from GTA 6. The protagonist is the same one that has been seen in previous GTA games and the GTA 4 expansions. Xfire’s article cites a leaker who claims to have details on the storyline and maps. Also mentioned is the release window for GTA 6. Lastly, it’s possible that GTA 6 will use motion matching technology, as the game’s developers have been putting technical information in their LinkedIn profiles.

A recent SEC filing by Take-Two Interactive suggests that the game will launch in FY24. According to Reuters, the game is expected to earn $3.5 billion at launch and another $2 billion later. However, the company denied the report shortly afterwards.
